Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow

A vibrant and inspiring practice that leaves you glowing with that “yoga buzz.”  Vinyasa Flow is a “flow style” class that combines instruction on form, alignment, flow and strength and power and balance. A continuous rhythm of breath awakens and reconnects you to a stronger and stress-free self as we move with the breaths.

Room is heated to around 28-30 degrees during winter months. 

 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga concentrates on floor postures that stimulate connective tissues includes the ligaments and fascia. Connective tissue does not stretch like muscle and takes more time to become more pliable and denser/stronger. For this reason postures are held for longer periods of time. Relaxing music and soft lighting are often incorporated to further calm the mind and release the spiritual potential this practice offers. Bolster, blanket, yoga block and straps are provided for all Yin classes. Perfect for beginners.

Yin Yang

Yin Yang

A great combination of both Yin and Yang styles of yoga. We begin with a couple of Yin floor postures to soften the deeper tissues, then move to a gentle Yang (active) flow with breath awareness to build heat in the body and finally work into some longer held Yin poses to calm the body and the mind. Perfect for beginners.

Hatha

Hatha

This class is designed to give the student a well-rounded yoga experience.
Beginning with Pranayama to awaken awareness of the breath followed by standing postures focused on stabilising and strengthening the shoulders and hips where we are generally weak, then floor postures that will work your core, hips and spine. Finishing with a 3-minute meditation to complete the practice and set you up for the week.This class is great for any level from beginners to advanced yogis wanting to focus on their basic alignment and foundational practice.

Hot Hatha

Hot Hatha

The room is heat infused to prevent injury, promote detoxification and enhance a deeper release within the body. Fresh air is circulated to make conditions ideal for a foundational sequence that vary slightly each class to strengthen bones and muscles and keep the mind-body connection sharp! Suitable for all levels.
