Kylie Harris (RYT)

Kylie has had a keen interest (obsession) with movement and the body since she was young. Dancing from the age of 5 she went on to complete a Teaching Diploma in Dance and Bachelor of Nursing by age 19. She worked in Health Promotion for 3 years and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts where she was introduced to yoga and fell in love with the practice, knowing from her first class that she wanted to one day teach yoga. After 17 years of teaching dance and 10 years of yoga practice she was finally ‘ready’ to complete her 200hr RYT.

Her passion for anatomy and physiology led her to further her study with Yoga Medicine (Tiffany Cruikshank) and online studies and workshops with Noah Maze. She is also a certified Budokon Teacher, a fusion of Martial Arts and yoga. In 2016 she completed Chakra Vinyasa training with Shiva Rea and also trained with Bryce Yoga (Bhriony and Dice). She is forever studying believing that in order to be a good teacher you must always be a good student, furthering your knowledge and then sharing that.

Expect a fun and sometimes challenging class from Kylie where you will discover muscles you never knew you had, break down the Maya (illusion) that keeps us stuck, move beyond your place of comfort and into the zone of transformation in a safe and supported way.
